Frequently Asked Questions

  • Glamping. Some call it luxury camping. Some call it glamorous camping. However, we do want to be clear that this is still Camping.

At Two Bees Escape glamping is purposed to inspire and guide those who are seeking a different kind of trip, the kind that encourages cultural immersion, and a deeper engagement with one’s surroundings all while enjoying this upscale approach to sleeping under the stars. Our tents do not have a staff to attend to you, or a calendar of events to keep you occupied and at night, we do not light the property up, our goal is for you to be able to unplug, escape the buzz of the world and get away from light pollution so you can kick back, look up, relax, and see the stars at night.

The glampground has a bathhouse within close walking distance to all the tents with 2 lockable full bathrooms.  Each bathroom has a toilet, sink and shower and comes equipped with linens, toilet paper, soap, shampoo and conditioner, and electricity!  Please note that while the bathrooms are private and lockable, they are shared by all guests.

To protect both our guests and our team we do not offer mid-stay cleaning.

  • Our tents each have their own small solar panel which powers a motion sensitive outdoor light, two inner switch lights and a small radio - the battery can bank up to 4 hours of light only, so use only when needed. The welcome trailer and the bathrooms both have electricity is you need to charge devices. Each tent is also equipped with a battery powered fan with light and USB port for charging. However, we do encourage you to unplug while you are here and enjoy the beautiful country around you, and for that reason we do not offer WIFI.

We are a 10 minute drive to the nearest winery on either lake, It is 15 minutes to the nearest grocery store (in Trumansburg), coffee shop and stores. If you are looking for a larger town (and a bit more nightlife), Ithaca is 30 minutes south at the base of Lake Cayuga and Watkins Glen is 20 minutes south at the base of Lake Seneca.
